On the grapevine the most common disadvantages attributed to OOo are
that the suite is
bloated
Installing the 2003 Standard Office product (www.microsoft.com) : "The trial software download is 228 megabytes (MB), and approximately 500MB of free hard disk space is required to install the trial after download" With ~94MB for OOo (yes of course you'll still need to download an email client to make it closer to apples for apples, but that won't be
100MB download - will it)
OOo (on my machine) installed size is ~250 MB. I don't think that OOo suffers from feature bloat yet as well. There are plenty of things that should/could/are being added ...IMHO I don't get that bloated feeling yet... Just my $0.02 worth... /paul --- Try Torpark; a small portable, open-source, built on Firefox browser that enables anonymous browsing.
