Hi Dotan,
What do you recommend that people do when they complain?
I thought I had better explain my question.. When people complain about
the odf format, what do you tell them they should do?
There is an odf converter for Word:

I'm pretty sure that there is an equivalent for Excel as well, but I
don't send excel files. Also, I've found that many people are very
receptive to installing OOo on their computers as opposed to MS
Office. I really think that a lot of the traffic on this list is FUD
by guess-who, because frankly some of the questions are so basic or
stupid that it blows my mind. The people who I help install OOo don't
know the difference between a dll and xml, yet they install and use it
with no problem. No silly "what do I now do with the installer file"
or other ridiculous questions like I see here. Really, these are
people who wouldn't on their lives be able to find and join a mailing
list. So, how do the questions here get to the list in the first
place?!? If someone can figure out how to subscribe to a mailing list
and send a question, then how is it that he does not know what to do
with an installer???
