I bet the problem lies with the documentformat. Your boss is using MSFT
Office and you're sending your documents in OpenDocumentFormat, odt for
text and ods for spreadsheets. MSFT can not read these files, because it
doesn't support this format.
The solution for your problem depends on what your boss needs to do with
the files you send him. I think the best solution would be to choose
File/Send/Send as Microsoft ... This way your boss can read and edit the
files, but your harddisk doesn't get cluttered up with extra files that
you don't need.
Alternatively you could also save your OpenOffice files in MSFT-format
and even make this the default for all the files you create with
OpenOffice. If your boss just needs to read the files you could also
export them as PDF and send him the pdf-version.

My boss claims to be unable to open any of the emails I have sent. Attached
Files are generated with OpenOffice 2.0 Calc and Writer and I am able to email
to myself at an alternative email address and have no problem. Does anyone
have any ideas??? My operating system is Windows 2000 and I utilize Yahoo! to
email. I thank you in advance for your time and cooperation
