Thanks for the reply. I finally resolved the problem just this
afternoon. Instead of selecting the records by an SQL statement I
created queries, then set the form controls to use the queries. Dunno
why the SQL statements didn't work -- they were generated by OOo.
If I remember correctly, the required quote character may change
depending on the context. For example, the quote to delimit a field name
may be different in a macro than in the query builder.
