2006/11/9, Freddy VAN INGELGOM <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>:

I save my documents always in the OOo format, but when sending them to
someone I do this as a pdf file. It is very simple: File -> Send -> As
pdf (or something similar, I use the french version of OOo). I even
installed a special button on my toolbar for it!
If you really need to communicate a text that can be changed by your
correspondent, then of coarse you could transform (by "Save as...") into
another format such as rtf or even doc.
As I am working in a Notary office, we like to keep control over our
text and therefor we avoid to distribute text in a treatable format.

Regards,

Freddy

Hello

I think we shouldn't be shy about sending out files in OOo format. PDF is
fine when the recipient doesn't have to modify the file, but otherwise I
tend to send odt and ods, indicating that they are Open Document, along with
the 'regular' doc and xls.
Why not include the OOo logo in our signature?
