I belong to several high volume lists that work exactly like that and like it 
very much.  The problem here is that most of the posts have to do with very 
simple things.  Things that reading the manual would solve without a post.  
My opinion is that even if we start using tags only the poeple who read the 
manual ie the people answering the questions would use them.  Every week we 
see a couple hundred posts from people who don't even realize this is a list.  
They can't even read the page that gave them the address top post to, which 
is most likely the page that would explain how to use tags.  While a good 
idea somehow I just don't think it would work.. Fred
