I think the problem is that in Calc, when you export to pdf, the print range is not taken into account!!
I believe it is - I use that feature from time to time. What leads you to believe this? Alternatively, you have an option of exporting the selected cells. Just make sure you select the cells of the invoice before File / Send / Email as PDF.
