[users] Desktop icon for open office

I downloaded and installed open office. It looks like a great program, easy  
for people not trained in word processing to use.
My question is; How do I put a icon on my desktop for this program so I can  
open it easily? When it installed, there is a desktop icon for the 
instasllation  files which does me no good.
Please help as I will get much use of this program, but I need to be able  to 
open it quickly.
