Hi Paul

I've always wondered about this as well, but I haven't had a chance to experiment. (My wife and kids use Macs.) Is it possible to get Properties on the dock item, and add the "-calc" there? Or it may be possible to create an alias, and alter the properties to include "-calc". Another idea that would work is to create a template of a blank Calc document on your desktop and drag it to the dock. (As Richard said, once OpenOffice.org is open, you can use File / New to create a Calc document.) Please let us know if any of these ideas work.
