Dear OpenOffice.org: I need some technical support and don't do well with FAQ's and online documentation. I need a phone conversation or online chat with a human being. I am a single user who got started using an Iomega microdrive with active disc technology. Can you help me? I will pay for help and make a contribution.
While I am at it, I may as well tell you my problem. I have a journal that I am writing, a simple text document. It appears to be a text file with 3539 characters(sxw) but when it opens it opens as an odt file and appears blank. I don't want to lose my writing. I do have a back up copy that is working, but I don't want to lose my work in the future. When I save files I usually have to click OK on a couple of error messages(BASIC errors) before it saves and then it saves OK. These are really the only problems I am having. I have found my microdrive loaded with Open Office a very useful tool. But these problems are very worrisom. Your reply will be appreciated.
