Since this is now abundantly clear, we need the following: What Operating System are you using (Windows, Linux, Mac OS X, etc.) What version of OpenOffice.org are you using? Let me see if I get the following: You are attempting to edit an OpenOffice.org 1.1 text document (.swx) and are using a version of OpenOffice.org 2.0 to do this. The document is opening to an empty document.
