What you need to do is learn how to use page styles. There are
three chapters on styles at
http://documentation.openoffice.org/manuals/oooauthors/. The styles
chapter in the Getting Started Guide should be sufficient to do what
you want to do. The other chapters should help you use the more
advanced properties of styles.
