I am a new user of open office. I am getting very frustrated with the spreadsheet program. I cannot see the text that I am typing for column or row headings. I need to develope spreadsheets that others can comprehenbd as well as knowing what each column and row stand for. These rows and columns will not contain numbers or formulas. What could I be doing wrong? The text is appearing in the status bar but not in the cell on the sheet. At this rate freezing a column or row will not help if I cannot see the text.
