more's the pity.  while Outlook does not really have much to do with the other 
"office" functionalities, its lack is one of the major items stopping people 
moving from MS Office.  If you want Outlook, you've bought MS Office.

OpenOffice interoperates well with M$-Outlook.

I don't believe any such thing exists,  nor will it for some time.  The
closest is probably Columba - http://www.columbamail.org/drupal/  It
isn't really an "Outlook" replacement as it doesn't go groupware,   but
if PIM is sufficient for your needs it might work.

There once was a project about this - http://groupware.openoffice.org/ -
but it is long since moribund.  When I was there no one could create a
specific feature list of what 'integration with OpenOffice' meant.  The
OpenOffice address book already integrates with LDAP and/or WAB (M
$-Outlook)
