As already pointed out, I may have inadvertently hijacked or "spoilt"
the original topic of this thread when I lazily used "reply to" to do
the addressing for me, but then put an unrelated question as subject
"Mac Problems using Sheet" so I am sorry about that.
Others (newbie-ish) might benefit from that same awareness... dunno
if worth putting in the subscription info.
In answer to Terry, thanks, you were right, I thought incorrectly
that Oo (Sheet) might "need" the formulas, at least temporarily in
order to paste correct values, but it did not. And so un-checking
Formulas did what I needed, including allowing Sort to work
properly... thanks!
