Hi All,
As some of you may be aware, I have had little time to work on the
knowledgebase recently and after adding a few new hints to it this
week found that it was "vandalised" by stupid people. There method
was to ask questions which contained words and links to various porn
and/or gambling sites, and these would show up on the side in the
most recently asked questions. Sorry for not picking up on this earlier.
Well, I have since implemented a quick fix by blocking a couple of
networks, but also implemented a blacklist block of certain words
which I believe will never be needed in the OpenOffice.org
database ;) This will stop the bad stuff showing up and instead
simply put a blocked notice instead.
If anyone is interested in helping maintain the knowledgebase by
updating and/or adding new hints to the current system, feel free to
contact me and I will get you access to work through it.
