Writer is still refusing to modify my paragraph styles. To review, I
have a large document (130+ pages) which is entirely in outline form
using the Outlining Tool and Paragraph Styles. I would like to increase
the font size of Heading 2, but the program stops responding within
seconds after apparently carrying out the command. The font size does
change on the pages I am able to see, but when I click to resume
working, the program freezes.
Steps I have taken thus far, none of which have improved my situation:
1. saved my file as a .odt instead of a .sxw
2. uninstalled OOo 2.0.1
3. installed OOo 2.1.0
4. renamed the folder in Documents and Settings\Owner\Application
Data\OpenOffice2.org
I have noticed that the user configuration files are all described as
"OpenOffice 1.1 Configuration File". Is this a problem since I am no
longer running OOo 1.1.4?
