Thank you Dan.

The field type that I am using is TIMESTAMP - I was told that this was the one to use for fractional seconds.

The formatting is MM:SS.00.

At first I thought that it was a formatting error i.e. the value was 19.60 but was being displayed as 19.06. However, doing a drag-and-drop into Calc proved it actually was 19.06! Closer observation when I was entering the data showed that it did enter and format correctly as 19.60 then, when I moved on to the next record, it was changed to 19.06.

Regards,

Nick Samuel

I accidently deleted the email to [email protected] asking help for a Base database containing swimming times to hundredths of a second. So, this is going to be a somewhat blind reply. I need more information to understand what is happening in your database. In your table, you have one or more fields with a time containing two decimal places. What Field type are you using for this field or fields? In your form, what formating have you assigned this field or fields?
