I have been trying to help my son with this, but can't find a way... The idea: create an A3 landscape document in Writer. Since our printer isn't big enough for A3 paper, print it on two portrait A4 pages, then stick them together. (The printer will handle borderless printing, so in theory it would work).
Can anyone tell me how to do this? Since some of the content is designed to lie across the middle of the final document, creating two separate A4 pages is going to be pretty well impossible. (While searching for answers, I found that in Impress, there is what appears to be the right functionality for this: try to print an A3 page on an A4 printer and it asks whether I want more than one page. However, it then ignored the page setup in the printer options, and printed my A3 landscape document on (parts of) four A4 landscape pages. In Writer, though, doing the same simply leads to one A4 sheet being printed, in landscape format again, containing the top left of my A3 document). -- David Aldred --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
