It will be necessary for you to subscribe with your new address and then unsubscribe your old address. Begin by subscribing your new address by sending a blank email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] The list manager robot will send a confirmation reply to you.

As you will not be able to receive the UNsubscribe acknowledgment email at your old address, you will have to follow the procedure described in [EMAIL PROTECTED] for (un)subscribing an alternate address. I no longer have a copy of the help email, so I cannot cite the specific instruction, but it is easy to find.

It is possibly unnecessary to unsubscribe your old address, but it is the cleanest and most polite way to handle the process. I say this because a few months ago I had a configuration foulup on my mail server and messages to me from the list were bouncing back to the list server for a couple of days. I had already fixed the problem when I received a message from the list server asking me to confirm receipt or my apparently defunct address would be dropped. The point here is that if you have had your comcast.net address for longer than a couple of weeks, you may rceived a reply from the list server that your old address is not subscribed. As you will have not received the warning message, you would have no idea what had transpired.

hth,
Doug
