Hi, I just downloaded OO 2.1 and when I went to open it I got a small window that said " Open Office Was not found in your system . Please (re-) install Open Office.org first" Could someone tell me what to do next? Could this mean to restart the computer? Thanks Vince Mac Power PC G5
There is very good help for installation of OOo on the Mac at http://porting.Openoffice.org/mac You'll need X11 installed on your mac to use OOo (see installation manual) What exactly have you downloaded (name of the file)? Was this download done succesfully... (filesize of M5sum) Maybe the info on the site will help you thru the installation, otherwise you can post again here.
