Javascript window, perhaps, if it is a web form? They are coming from a "mail-to:" link on the OOo website. That link set the subject line to "YOU MUST GIVE A SUMMARY HERE". Unfortunately, many inexperienced users do not read or maybe understand that they are being asked to change the subject line. There has been a thread on the list recently about only allowing subscribers to post. While I haven't been following the thread closely, I have in the past and still do advocate, that users who are not subscribed should only be able to post to this list via a web form. With a clearly visible link to this form on the index page of the website. Such a form could have required fields (OOo version, OS, etc.) that would provide us with more information, so that we could give more accurate answers, instead of making the guesses we frequently have to do. I realise this would not go down well with those who follow and post to this list via newsreaders, but the fact is that this _is_ a mailing list.
