Hi there,
I'm experiencing some problems trying to merge and send a letter as an
email with an attachment. I get an error from the mail server stating
that the message size is to big. This is a bit strange since the file
I'm attaching is about 7K in size. The error pointed to is in
mailmerge.py and smtplib.py.
One mail is sent successfully but the rest of them is cancelled due to
this error. I have followed the documentation on using mail merge but
this happens all the time.
Has anyone else experienced this? And have anyone found a solution?
My setup is:
Win XP
OO 2.1
Thunderbird (the addresses is retrieved from a list in the address book.)
Steps to reproduce:
1) Create a list of mail recipients in Thunderbird.
2) Follow the mail merge wizard using email as the output.
3) Setup mail server and account info through Tools-Options-Writer...
4) Try sending the letter as an attachment/pdf to the recipients.
Hope someone is able to help me with this.
