Ken and Alda

Can we please have some more information.

Can you please try File > Open and leave all the files selected (*.*). Can
you then see the files you want to open in the list above? If not can you
change folders until you do? Then you should be able to open .doc or .xls
files.

I used to be able to open them but for some reason I can't now. I still
can't open .doc and .xls files with OOo 2.1.
Beats me??? I even downloaded Java, hoping that would help.
