Turning on the logging functionality of the RDBMS I found that all column types
were replaced by NATIONAL VARIABLE CHARACTER without any size arguments (hence
the missing parameters).
I've reported the bug here:

2007/1/16, Henrik Sundberg <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>:
I'm using Base in OOo 2.1 on XP professional with an ODBC connection
to a Mimer (9.2.5B) database.
I can edit existing tables, but I cannot create new tables. I get an
error dialog (attached 9Kb, might be stripped by the list):
+ Error while saving table design
+ [Mimer][ODBC Mimer Driver][Mimer SQL]Syntax error, '(' ')' assumed missing
This is followed by ~50 small squares interspersed with a few question marks.
Is this:
A windows font/character set problem?
A Mimer problem?
A Base SQL problem?
A Base Wizard problem?
Something else?
Is there a way to get the error description from Base in a log instead?
Any ideas?
