Ooops, you're right, the root cause for this one is rather clear now.
I mixed this bug with the General Input/ouput error, sorry ! For this one, the
root cause has not been found IIRC (but that's another discusion, bug report
has been closed but it keeps occurring).

And again the only scenario found that can reproduce the bug is - guess
what! - killing the files in the temp folder.
I really recommend to all people experiencing this "can't save" problem:
make sure that your temp folder remains untouched until OOo is closed.
In case you think that it is necessary to run a cleaning tool on your
temp folder you can give OOo its own folder that is not touched by the
tool. You can configure this in "Tools-Option-Paths". But make sure that
this folder lies on a local hard disk, otherwise performance would be
hit seriously.
