thanks so much for that. However, I have the default settings (15 minutes), but the recovery still doesn't happen. A lead could be that it happens most frequently when I work with a large file, with a lot of index markings. I would be happy to report a bug, but I don't know how. The only report function that I can seee goes to Microsoft, and they know everything about it by now. If there is anyway that I could report to Oo, I would mbe happy to do so. However, I am no data engineer (which is also why I use XP).
Interesting. Its always worked for me. Is there something special about the document - apart from the indexes? Does it have alot of other formatting?
