Sorry to be pedantic, but OOo program is offered under the "lesser"
GPL (http://www.openoffice.org/license.html)...

It is still legal to sell copies and I agree with Dotan, include other
open source programs so the person views to scope and benefits of open
source software.

Yes, it's legal. Open Office is licensed under the GPL. While you're
at it, give them Firefox and Ubuntu too.
