When you download OpenOffice.org from www.openoffice.org, look for some text
that say that you might want to download the Swedish version (the site seems
to figure out that you are Swedish somehow) and click the appropriate link.

For Swedish spell checking you need to install Swedish dictionaries. That
can be done withing OpenOffice through a guide, BUT there is a better
Swedish dictionary at DSSO <http://dsso.se/download.html>. And it's going to
be even better. This very day I sent one of the responsible people of that
site a list words that also should be in the list, such as ordinary words,
names of Swedish cities, counties, lakes etc.

Unfortunately there is no Swedish grammar check and no Swedish thesaurus.

Hm... feels funny to write to someone in Sweden in English... (min egen
hemmagjorda skolengelska - my own home made school English - as someone
said).

Ha det gôtt!
