It seems that this might work for Windows XP, SP2. download to C drive.. copy 
to flashdrive. install on flashdrive The installed program is 235 meg so you

and I did this by going to tools, and then Options. When you get to the options 
page go to 'downloads' from this page I re-set the default to "ask me where to 
save every file'I am sure IE will have something similar.When you have the file 
downloaded and you manage to open it can you tell me which program you used. I 
get a message asking which program created the file and I have never found
