[users] Base - missing files

I recently had 3 database files completely disappear that I created with 
OO Base. I searched my computer under the file name, file type, and date 
created with no luck. I also searched my trash folder. Does anyone have 
ideas on what could have happened? It would be nice to keep this from 
happening again.
