[users] Is there a reveal codes feature?

I am using Open Office 2.1.  My problem is that when I open a document  
formatted in columns, the document is broken about halfway through the first  
page 
and resumed on the top of page two.  I have not been able to get the  document 
reformatted correctly.  I have used WordPerfect, and under View  there is a 
reveal codes feature.  Is there a comparable feature on  Open Office?
