     Open the Styles and Formating window (F11 key). Your custom 
paragraph style should be highlighted. Right click the custom style 
and select Modify from the context menu. Click the Organizer tab. You 
should see the name of your style listed in a drop down list. Below 
that you should see the next style to apply. It probably had Default 
listed. Change that to the name of your custom style. Click OK. This 
should stop this problem.
