Bikes Made is Sheet 2 I need to put the answer on sheet 1
I think there's a typo in your formula.
I opened up a blank spreadsheet, renamed Sheet2 to Bikes made, and set
up a formula in Sheet1.
The formula reads: =E11-'Bikes made'.$N$9
This gives me the right answer with no error messages. Looks to me like
you have and exclamation point where a period should be.
By the way, when constructing a formula, I find it less error prone to
point and click at the cell of interest, rather than typing in the cell
references.
Using an exclamation point is Excel syntax - this tripped me up a few
times when I starting migrating across to OOo, after having been a heavy
Excel user for quite a few years :)
