NoOp:

Not all OpenOffice.org users choose to join or even participate in this list.
Thus this meets the technical definition of volunteer, one who gives freely
of his or her time to help others. I do so and so do you, at least I'm under
that impression. No one pays me to be here (at least not that I'm aware
of) although it can and does lead to paying employment by other companies
or even governments. I know of no one on this list that is paid by
OpenOffice.org nor its main sponsor, Sun Microsystems, that are paid to
provide user support through this list. Do you have a counter argument to these
statements. I would gladly like to read it. And some of the folks who are
here do not use OpenOffice.org but rather derivatives, such as BROffice or
NeoOffice.
I do apologize to the list for this subject remaining here, but I feel that
appropriate wording of the README is paramount so that we can properly
describe who we are and what our function is within this community of
users.
