If you are talking about emailing a spreadsheet to them, use
Send > Email as Microsoft Excel. If you are on a network and placing
the file in a shared folder, use File > Save As making sure the
File type is changed from OpenDocument Spreadsheet (.ods) to
Microsoft Excel (.xls). Save the file this way in the shared folder.
