2007/2/23, Sally Billig <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>:

I'm using Open Office Writer. I'm trying to get pages numbered
consecutively, preferably on rightside page bottom. I'm not inserting a
number, which you do explain. I don't want to use a header or footer.
Is this possible and if so, how?

Sally

Sally,
You could use Insert > Field > Page number
However, if you change the contents of the pages, the place where you
inserted the page number will change too. That's why we have the header or
footer, so that this information stays put. What have you got against a
header or footer, it doesn't need to include more than a page number...
So: Insert > Footer > Standard (or other page style/template), then Insert >
Field > Page number (and click on Right Align)
