I have a similar setup, except that the printer is HP LaserJet 1100.
When I chose the logical settings I got the same result as you. To fix
it, I had to lie to the printer settings, and tell it that the envelope
feed was hard to the right, rather than actually being fed from the
center. That did it for me.

I am trying to configure OpenOffice 2.1 to print a standard # 10 envelope, but
I can't get it to work.
I am running Windows XP, SP2 (and all patches are up to date) hardwired to a HP LaserJet 1012 printer.
I've followed a couple of tutorials very carefully, and all I get is the return
address where the main address should be.
It would be awfully nice to be able to break away from Microsoft productivity
tools, and use OpenOffice exclusively.
Any help would be most appreciated.
Thanks.
