What has no place on a technical mail list is a pitchfork-wielding
horde out to get someone over a signature. It's just a signature. No
different than Paul's Bill Gates sig line, or my stupid people one.
The only reason this particular thread has gone wildly off base is
that someone decided to make an issue of it. They could have sent a
private message, or God forbid, ignore it. Of course, that would
require maturity.

There's not a soul here who doesn't have a mail client that can't
filter out messages from certain senders, or containing certain words.
I suggest you exercise your no doubt superior technical skills to do
so. Then you won't have to worry about "offensive religious
propaganda."

FWIW, about a half hour ago, a couple of bible thumpers appeared at my
door. I advised them they were on private property that is posted no
soliciting and no trespassing and that they were doing both. I told
them to leave the private property.

Religion is a delusion that has no place in a technical mail list. If
he wants his delusion, that's his business, but I and many other prefer
that he keep that nonsense to himself.
