Mathias, I wanted to check a few things out before responding... 1. Regarding frames and the existing Wizard for labels: o I found that whoever created the label wizard expected the user to experience the exact problems listed in this thread; change the text/font/font size, and have it change in the remainder of the labels. What I discovered is that this is easily done (changing data/font etc in the first label and have it change in the others) by: File|New|Labels|Options| tick both 'entire page' *and* 'Synchronize contents' 'Synchronize contents' is the key. If this is selected in the wizard, once a new label page is created you can change the first frame & contents to whatever you want (including font size), and click the "Synchronize Labels" floating button & all other labels will change! Brilliant! 2. I wanted to explore the "frames" vs "tables" issue; so I saved my OOo wizard created document as a MS Word document. I then rebooted into Windows2KP, spent a considerable amount of time there downloading 'security' updates & installing, and then fired up MS Word (97) and opened the label doc that I'd saved in OOo. The result (I presume because of the 'frame' structure was this in Word: Error! Bookmark not defined.Error! Bookmark not defined.Error! Bookmark not defined.Error! Bookmark not defined. Error! Bookmark not defined.Error! Bookmark not defined.Error! Bookmark not defined.Error! Bookmark not defined. Error! Bookmark not defined.Error! Bookmark not defined.Error! Bookmark not defined.Error! etc., for the number of frames that were in the OOo document. Simply put; the existing OOo "frames based" label wizard document cannot be saved as an MS Word document. I also tried to save it as an rtf file & the result is that it opens up as a single framed label in OOo. I've not tried the rtf file in MS Word. I hope that's helpful.
