Hello,
I've downloaded and installed the OpenOffice 2.1 suite but it has never
started. I installed in on a Windows 98 OS. I subsequently installed
the Java Runtime 6 but that didn't help. I uninstalled and reinstalled
but that also did not help. On startup, the splash screen comes up and
the progress bar (on the splash screen) goes all the way and then it
just sits there. I started Writer last night and went to bed; it still
had the splash screen up when I woke up in the morning.
Please advise.
