Go into the file menu, templates, organize.

You must have set that as your default template, so you need to unset it.

1. I installed OpenOffice 2.0 in December 2006 and looked at Writer.
2. During the first session I created a template document, which I later
deleted.
3. Since then, whenever I click the Writer icon to start, an error message
appears. The same one each time. When I click OK or X, the message
closes and Writer opens.
4. I have un-installed OpenOffice and installed version 2.1, but the message
still appears.
5. It does not appear when I click the Calc icon.
6. The message reads : C:\Documents and Settings\David\Application
Data\OpenOffice.org2\user\template\Grey backgrounds.ott does not exist

Any suggestions, please?
