Hi,
I got the latest version of OpenOffice and I noticed an error in the
auto correction mode. Even if you change the language in the options
it doesn't control the document with the selected language but with
the default. example: My openoffice is in french my default language
is french. When I make a document in dutch and I change the
dictionary to dutch it keeps correcting in french.
This normally means that the /document/ is marked "French". In order to
handle documents in more than one language, the paragraphs (and/or
individual words) are marked with a language. (It's on the same part of
the Format dialogs as the font.)
If you regularly create both documents in French and documents in Dutch,
the best thing to do is to create two different templates, one French,
one Dutch, and choose the appropriate one when you do File->New.
