Rather a cheeky one, this:
I confess to being a Windows XP and MS Office user, but have just
discovered that I don't have PowerPoint. Is it possible to download
Impress without the rest of the OpenOffice package and run it under XP?
And could I use it to edit existing ppt files and then resave the
result as ppt?
Thank you.
As Dan said, you really don't want to try to install just one part.
You can easily install the whole thing and only use Impress, and Impress
will read and save in .ppt format. It _won't_ do it 100% correctly 100%
of the time, but I have found that if you stick to simple documents then
you'll be just fine.
