Yesterday's updates for Feisty Herd5 updated OOo from 2.1 to 2.2. 2.2
runs *considerably* slower on my test system that 2.1 did. Screen
painting/refresh sometimes seems to take forever and is visibly slow. I
even adjusted the memory settings to see if that would help... not much.
However I'm still test driving it & realize that it is RC rather than
released.

Regarding drag & drop; the D&D for 2.2 (non-amd64) works for me. One
thing that I noticed however is that when you try to D&D a read-only
document in 2.1, the cursor turns into an international no sign (circle
with the diagnal line), this does not happen in 2.2. 2.2 gives no
indication that the selected text cannot be D&D'ed. I used the OOo
oo-about-these-fielse.odt included in the Examples directory to test. It
is read only.

Anyway, you might want to perform the updates on Feisty & give 2.2 a
test drive.
