Thanks for the heads up. I was unaware that there were updates to Feisty because I did not actually install it. All I did was run it from the live/install CD and note that the D&D that did *not* work in the Edgy amd64 live/install CD *did* work in the Feisty Herd 5 amd64 live/install CD. Since I did not install it I can't install the updates. All I can do is wait until there is a new .iso to download -- Herd 6 or whatever. I do plan to download the final beta scheduled for March 19, though. The reason I did not install it is because I need this computer functional until after exam week, March 19. I think my last final is March 21, so right thereafter I will do some installing. I trust you made a report to the Feisty 32-bit folks about the sluggish performance.
