Hi Dan.....Thank you for the reply....Yes, I had thought of the copy and
paste method, and it works OK. In fact I don't really have an issue with the
OpenOffice programs, I think it damn good....the biggest problem I have is
that I have to use MS programs as well (because of other people) and I just
cannot get OpenOffice to 'convert' or 'save' to say, a Word.doc file.

It is OK the other way round (Word.doc to OpenOffice)

It isn't as though I can't use the PC either....I'm literate with PShop,
PaintShopPro, AutoCad and many other programs, but I just can't figure (or
'configure') this one out. Maybe the program is corrupted????

Regards Al.

It would seem that you have created the wrong type template. If
you are creating a letterhead, you need to do so in a text document
(Writer) rather than Draw. Have you considered copy and pasting the
graphic you created in Draw into the Header of a text document? Then
you can save this text document as a template (*.ott) file.
