I currently have microsoft office 2007 on my compuer and would like to download
openoffice 2.1, but before doing that I would like to know if it is possible to
have both on the same computer?
Both can live on the same computer just fine.

You will need to take care however when installing OOo about what
application you want to continue to open your files. OOo can open
.doc, .xls etc... however if you want to keep Office doing that, keep
an eye out for that question during the install of OOo.

Vista is "dramatically more secure than any other operating system
released" Bill Gates
Huh ?? Defender doesn't stop spyware (Webroot) ; firewall is only 50%
effective (Zdnet) ; UAC can be turned off and is annoying ; SP1 (incl
security reasons) due end of 2007...
