Like most open source projects developer resources are limited, so the developers do not work on projects which already have excellent alternatives. For personal or small business email and calendering Mozilla Thunderbird with the Lightening calendar extension is a good alternative to MS Outlook. http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/thunderbird OOo does include a basic HTML editor, but for more serious web development you may want to consider Nvu http://www.nvu.com Hope this helps.
