I, fairly frequently get an error message when attempting to save the Calc 
spreadsheet I am working on,, viz. "Error saving the document................. 
Write Error. The file could not be written" 
To avoid losing the work I have done, my work around is to copy and paste the 
document on to a new blank document, and saving this new doc under the same 
name.
My question is, is this a known problem and is there any way I can cure it? I 
am at present using Win XP SP2, and Open Office V2.1.9095.
I am pretty sure I have had this happen before in earlier versions, but it 
seems much more frequent of late.
